Pune, get ready for an exceptional musical experience as the Gods Robots duo Shridevi Keshavan (aka Taamara) and Janaka Atugoda (aka Janaka Selekta) come together at SWIG to perform at the Friday Night Bounce. The duo is in high spirits as they have launched their official album called ‘Burn it Up’ in association with Sony Music two days back. The album defines new sounds as the two artists seamlessly blend English Lyrics with pop music edge, classical Indian instrumentation and bass heavy underground rhythms taking the sound of music on a different level altogether. Janaka, based in San Francisco and Taamara in India, had never met in person when they first came together to form Gods Robots co-ordinating with each other from the opposite sides of the globe. However, when they did meet after almost a year and a half, it marked an important milestone for the duo as they soon launched their first EP, Shine, which also features the highly popular track ‘Stay’. So head to SWIG this Friday as Taamara and Janaka perform tracks from their official album, for the first time!
