The Escape Festival of Art and Music, 2013 returns once again to the pristine environs of Naukuchiatal. Set against the backdrop of a magical nine cornered lake, offering two distinct musical stages and three blissful days of music and art, the Escape Festival is a curated experience unlike any other.
2013 version of the 3 day music festival kicks off in the month of May. The festival, will be held at Naukuchiatal in Uttarakhand. Amongst the many enthralling performances in the festival, the highlight will be a tribute to Gyan Singh, who left us last year, who was one of India’s most respected bassists and the member of the iconic Kolkata based band, Skinny Alley/Pink Noise. Some other names representing Escape music festival this year include instrumental rock artist Warren Mendonsa aka Blackstratblues, Bengaluru alt rockers Thermal and A Quarter and Nagaland pop rock group Alobo Naga & The Band. Escape takes place at Naukuchiatal’s The Lake Resort, spread across two stages – the Soul Garden stage and the Magic Forest stage.
