Yes! its time once again for NH7, one of India’s widely popular and ever growing mega fest. To add something new this year, the NH7 team has decided to give all the budding electronica talent to feature at this year’s festival. The contest is open to music of genres Reggae/Dancehall, Dubstep, TRAP, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Moombahton, Electrohiphop, Glitch Hop, Live Experimental Electronica.
How to enter:
Create a 30 minute set titled “#NH7Weekender – @Dub_station stage DJ Set Contest – (YOUR DJ NAME HERE)” on Soundcloud. Use the following tags, ‘nh7weekender – dubstationindia – your artist name – the genre of music you use’
Use the below artwork as display picture of the track.

Share to various social networks for votes based upon which the final five would be chosen

Coming back to the competition, Based upon the favoraites/plays/likes/tweets the participants get, the top 5 would be chosen. The NH7 Judges would then decide who would get the chance to play a one hour set at the NH7 Weekender.The contest is up and running with a number of entries already. Entries from Artists/DJs from various places and diverse styles to be seen so far indicating a indicating tough battle.
Notable entries include those by Vaeya and Spiral aka Spiraltar. Apart from this, NH7 & Bindass also gave chance to a band to tryout to play at NH7 weekender in Delhi. This one was open for New Delhi based bands only. Similar competition to be held for Pune and Mumbai as well. Check the NH7 website for more on this.
