Yes, it is, the pioneers of the Metal scene are making their much awaited appearance on Indian soil. Common Colors Entertainment Pvt. Ltd the company organizing this event have confirmed that COB would play at Bangalore on the 14th.
50 Live performances, Beer, Shopping, Games, Food and with over 50,000 visitors expected to visit this now annual event will take place between 5th& 7th October in Hyderabad and 12th to 14th October in Bangalore. As the title name may suggest this festival is conceptualized from Oktoberfest happening in Europe.This event has been growing year after year with visitors from all over the country as well as abroad.Also in this event,Children below five donot have to buy a ticket!
According to Mr. G. V. Vilas, Founder TGIOF & Managing Director, Common Colors, “This edition will feature a wider gamut of performances from varied music genres apart from brand new activities introduced to suit multiple age groups and preferences.” With bands Lacuna Coil and Poets of The Fall headlining the previous editions, it was expected somebody massive would make it this year as well.

And what an apt time to do this, Metal scene in India has been riding a wave this year with several major metal acts touring the country and Slayer expected soon as well as several excellent releases. COB is a Finish metal band with members, Alexi Laiho, Roope Latvala, Janne Wirman, Henkka Seppälä, and Jaska Raatikainen. The band has been building, plundering and resurrecting the metal scene since 1997. With seven studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, two compilation albums and one DVD, the band has more than inscribed themselves on to Heavy Metal Scene.
