Sex symbol and pop sensation Enrique Iglesias is all set to tour India this October. India being a huge follower of his music as well as selling out his concert the last time in 2004, it is no surprise that the Spanish heart throb has decided to make a trip back.
Known for his sexy numbers like Escape, Love to see you cry and more recent club numbers like I like it and Tonight (I’m loving you), Enrique is one of the longest pop-acts that has managed an impact on India. Touring three cities in the country, Iglesias was well remembered on his last tour for the on-stage performance with his back-up dancer. His girlfriend of 10 years, Anna Kournikova who travelled with him to India was also present at the concert. The on-and-off romance has also had Indian fans weaving for the past 8 years.
Enrique will be playing music from his ninth studio album, ‘Euphoria’ as well as his cult hits, Enrique seems pumped to return to India after the success of the two-city tour. OML CEO Vijay Nair shares his enthusiasm and has added a third city to the tour (Pune) and switched Bombay for New Delhi. Iglesias will return to Bangalore, a city carrying some of his most loyal fans.
Mostly consisting of a female fan base, women across the world are known to have offered this pop star everything from their undergarments to hotel room keys. At the last concert similar rumours saw daylight, though the likeliness of a series of bras flying at the stage during the Mumbai show is highly unlikely.
