What an impressive year this is turning out to be – David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Opeth, Lamb of God, Kreator, Korn in September and now there is news of iconic Rock Band – Guns n’ Roses coming to India this December.
Starting December, the band will perform a three-city maiden tour across Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. The tour will commence with a concert in Bangalore at Palace Ground whereas other venues are yet to be disclosed.
The tour has been organized by live events company Mooz Entertainment who are also responsible for bringing American alternative metal band Korn to India for the first time in September this year.
Guns n Roses has come a long way since their break up in 1994. Everyone will have the same thing in mind, “GNR without Slash”? what is that going to be like. Well rest assured it will be nothing short of epic. With a gigantic fan following in India the band’s songs like “November Rain” and “Sweet Child of Mine” have single-handedly been responsible to get the Indian population listening to Rock Music and inspiring so many musicians.
Guns N Roses in India will be quite the treat. Let’s hope the entire Metallica fiasco doesn’t repeat this time.
