Guitar enthusiasts in India are in for a treat this year. Susmit Sen, founder and lead guitarist of Indian Ocean, along with Studio Beat Route present to you The Masters Of Guitar Festival – a full-fledged Guitar festival in partnership with Blue Frog. Spread across 5 volumes, the festival will feature the best and topmost guitar players in the world. The list includes –
- Pat Metheny – With 19 Grammy awards in his bag, you have to know this Jazz master guitarist
- Scott Henderson – A legend in his own right
- Wayne Kramer – Ranked as one of the top 100 guitar players of all times by Rolling Stones Magazine
- Bernie Marsden – Guitarist of Whitesnakeand played with Babe Ruth
- Joe Satriani – The legendary rock guitarist and guitar teacher. His students include Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett(Metallica), Alex Skolnick(Testament), etc. Played with Mick Jagger and Deep Purple. Mastermind behind G3 collaborations.
- Steve Vai – The most celebrated student of Joe Satriani, a legend himself in his own rights.
Apart from these heavy weight international artists, the festival will also feature Indian guitarists like –

The inaugural volume of the event was held in Blue Frog Delhi and Mumbai on 22nd and 23rd of January respectively. Guitar legend Bernard John “Bernie” Marsden from Whitesnake, being the guest of honour playing along with Susmit Sen Chronicles.
These gigs are said to be culminated into a full-fledged concert by the end of the year, mostly in November. More details coming your way soon.
