For all the Chennaiites, here’s some happy news! The Unseen Underground Sonic Stone Fest-II featuring the Metal Giants Delhi is heading to Chennai for the first time ever! Yes, the band that will be headlining the fest will be Undying Inc, a band knowing for making some heart throbbing heavy metal music as early as 2004! Well of course the fest does not stop with that. The progressive/ groove metal band from Bangalore, Eshcer’s Knot are also making their presence felt in the fest! January 2010 turned out to be a very important year for them as they marked a terrific entry by emerging as winners in the Chennai Sangamam Festival and subsequently finishing first at IIT-Chennai’s Saarang Festival. Although they smelled success only a couple of years back, they have already made it big having played with big international names like Dark Tranquillity, HammerFall, De Profundis, Cypher 16 and many more. And yes, for the very own ‘Namma Chennai’ metal heads, Crypted is also going to be a part of the fest!
