Skyharbor Makes Its Way Across Europe

Formerly called Hydrodjent, Skyharbor, currently India’s most high profile metal band will be touring the great nations of Europe. This will be their debut in that part of the hemisphere, though their music will need no introduction. They will be performing at the Euroblast, they will bring to the crowd their signature mix of melodic djent progressive metal.

Founded by mastermind Keshav Dhar, mastermind because he managed to rope in Ex-Tesseract singer Daniel Tompkins on their DEBUT album, the band is has one of the most interesting sounds and guitar skill thus far. The band found its groove when Dhar decided that the band must focus on its sound and not just the production. This was a result of the heavy positives he heard about his unique sound; a sound that has even gained him popularity among big names like ex-Megadeth guitarist Friedman. The band was formed in 2010 and has had a meteoric rise. Their then anticipated new album released to much appreciation in November 2011 at the NH7 Weekender. They will be ripe with new tunes for the European crowd and are quite excited about the doors that will open to them post this tour.

Euroblast, which features them along with a series of bands like Monuments and Vildhjarta, starts on the 17th of October and ends on the 14th of November. Almost a month-long celebration of guitaring, tickets are available on euroblast.net. Those interested in following the tour can log onto the same website to keep tabs on who is performing where, and read up on what each country is like. Skyharbor will perform at the Euroblast Fest on 20th Oct in Cologne, Germany’s Live Music Hall.
