TAAQ set to perform in Ireland in September

Some artists in India have come a long way, on a path of glory and hard work, which has transcended them to a new level of excellence, creating an absolute example for the up and coming. Thermal and A Quarter have always been a focussed and state-of-the-art band and with their fifth studio release ‘3 Wheels, 9 Lives’, we pretty much got into them more than we ever were. And now these “potatoe junkies” are heading to the birthplace of Guinness on their maiden tour! So if you want to order any number of crates of beer from Ireland, then c’mon go ahead, don’t be shy and contact Mr. Bruce Lee Mani, because he’ll anyways be playing there on the following dates:

Thursday, September 5, 2013 – Code 23 Live, Dublin City

Friday, September 6, 2013 – Kytelers Inn, Kilkenny City

Saturday, September 7, 2013 – Monroe’s Live, Galway City

Sunday, September 8, 2013 – Danny Byrnes, Mullingar

The band will be performing at these four venues along with the supporting act, The Academic, a four piece Indie rock band from Mullingar, Ireland. Formed in November 2011, The Academic created a stir in the Irish alternative charts with their single ‘Bear Claws’ and are now working on their debut album which is expected to be released later this year.

These shows are part of the massive Bangalore Rock Tour, which was announced by the band earlier. The itinerary consists of over 35 shows starting from BFlat Bar in Bangalore to many different places around the world including Glasgow and Edinburgh along with other places to be announced. So wish these guys luck! Let’s see if these guys with just “a quarter” can outdrink the Irish!
